This training program is designed to equip CRCI staff with the knowledge and skills needed to properly conduct new resident intakes for those entering the Motivational Track (Moto Phase) of the recovery program. The intake process is crucial in ensuring residents meet eligibility criteria, understand program expectations, and smoothly transition into CRCI’s structured environment.

📌 Objective:
The CRCI Intake Process ensures that new residents:
✔ Meet medical and legal eligibility requirements.
✔ Are substance-free upon entry.
✔ Understand CRCI rules and expectations.
✔ Are properly assigned and equipped for their recovery journey.
📌 What happens before a resident arrives?
The admissions team conducts a pre-screening to determine eligibility:
✅ Medically able to participate in CRCI activities.
✅ No active warrants or registered sex offender status.
✅ Must provide clean drug and alcohol screenings.
✅ Must maintain regular check-ins if on the waiting list.
📢 Key Task: If an applicant is on the waiting list, staff must ensure their check-ins are recorded in the Applicant Check-In Form​.
