The CRCI Phase 4.1 e-learning course is designed to guide participants through the initial stage of the CRCI re-entry program. Phase 4.1 focuses on helping residents transition toward independent living following the completion of the residential treatment program. This phase spans six months, structured with a balance of responsibilities and personal freedoms aimed at reinforcing the skills necessary for a successful, substance-free life outside of CRCI’s direct supervision.
Key components of Phase 4.1 include:
- Structured Transition and Accountability: Residents undergo a 21-day period of supportive restriction to adapt to Phase 4 expectations, with increasing autonomy as they demonstrate sound decision-making.
- Personal Development and Recovery Commitment: Participants attend various group assemblies and engage in spiritual activities to reinforce their commitment to recovery and personal growth.
- Career and Skill-Building Opportunities: Residents are encouraged to participate in CRCI’s Social Enterprise Technician roles or apply to the Leadership Development Initiative, which offers vocational training and potential pathways for long-term employment.
- Exit Planning Support: Throughout the course, participants will prepare for independent living by developing an exit plan, including job placement, housing solutions, and financial planning.
