Course Objective:
This course is designed to help Phase 4.2 residents understand their responsibilities, expectations, and opportunities as they progress toward greater independence while maintaining a structured recovery environment.
Key Components of Phase 4.2

Increased Personal Freedom
- Phase 4.2 offers more flexibility in daily activities and decision-making compared to Phase 4.1.
- Residents can choose which church to attend without prior approval.

Continued Accountability & Attendance
- Residents must attend 4 group meetings per week (AA, NA, church services, or other approved recovery meetings).
- Mandatory participation in weekly Phase 4 meetings and Celebrate Recovery.

Work & Financial Responsibility
- Residents must maintain full-time employment and provide proof of continued work.
- Weekly program fee of $170 must be paid on time.

Exit Planning & Transition Preparation
- Residents must begin planning their transition out of CRCI within the final 4-6 weeks of Phase 4.2.
- CRCI offers assistance with job placement, housing solutions, and transportation for interviews.

Recovery Commitment
- Active engagement in the 12-step recovery process with a sponsor is required.
- Phase 4.2 residents are expected to continue practicing spiritual and personal growth.

Rules & Compliance
- Three unexcused absences from required meetings may result in program dismissal.
- Continued adherence to CRCI policies, including sobriety, attendance, and respect for program rules.
